Job Description

Overall Objective

The Health Facility Activity Manager is responsible for the effective planning, implementation, supervision, and technical oversight of PU-AMI’s health and nutrition programs within assigned health facilities and communities. This role ensures quality service delivery, coordination with key stakeholders, capacity building of staff and local partners, and compliance with organizational, technical, and safety standards. The Activity Manager contributes to strategic development, data-driven decision-making, and the localization approach, ensuring that interventions are contextually relevant, efficient, and aligned with PU-AMI’s mission and humanitarian principles.
The Health Facility Activity Manager must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to spend extended periods in Mokha, based on operational needs.

Requirements

Assists in documenting program implementation progress, challenges, and best practices, and supports transparent, timely, and quality reporting in line with humanitarian standards.
Ensures regular coordination and technical supervision of the partner’s implementation in accordance with PU-AMI’s localization strategy.
Monitors budget utilization in coordination with the local partner, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines and cost-efficiency across key budget lines, including staffing, outreach materials, transportation, and administrative costs.
Supports the finalization and implementation of a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the local partner, clearly outlining mutual roles, responsibilities, and resource commitments.
REPORTING LINES AND MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE

Report directly to the Health and Nutrition Program Manager (HNPM).
The position holds direct supervisory responsibility over 2 Medical Doctors assigned to Ber Nasser HC (1) and Al Thawbani HU (1), and 1 TFC Medical Doctor Team Leader in Mokha TFC.
Exercise indirect management of approximately 52 Ministry of Public Health and Population (MoPHP) personnel operating within the supported health facilities (Ber Nasser HC: 10, Al Thawbani HU: 14, Mokha TFC: 28)
